InterWrap soon will have reportedly the fastest and widest tandem extrusion coating line in the woven fabric industry located in India. The company will add a second extrusion coating station to its existing Davis-Standard line to create a tandem system that is 153 inches wide and capable of a continuous line speed of 800 ft. per min. This is the second phase of a project that began in 2002-03 with the installation of a mono layer extrusion coating line at InterWrap's facility outside of Mumbai. After installation, the expanded decorative tape line will boost InterWrap's production capabilities in India by 100%. See davis-standard.com.
