Yesterday I saw one of the most anticipated movies this year - "The Great Gatsby" film started on Friday in theaters in Bulgaria, just days after its world premiere in the U.S. on May 10 and just a few days after opening the 66th edition International Film Festival in Cannes.
"The Great Gatsby" (The Great Gatsby, 3D, U.S., Australia, 142 min, 2013) is a romantic drama based on the novel of F. Scott Fitzgerald, published in 1925, which ranks among the most widely read English-language novels of the 20th century. The film is directed Baz Luhrmann, Baz Luhrmann and screenwriters Craig Pearce. Once Luhrmann of Moulin Rouge was among my favorite films, and after the film is novel and is loaded with so many expectations, I could not run to the theater to another to release. Leonardo and Tobey Maguire made strong roles. The movie "The Great Gatsby" by 1974. directed by Jack Clayton's most successful, although he always manages to recreate the psychology of the characters from the novel, but overall very good. Very good game / especially Mia Farrow and Sam Waterson / and very good directing and cinematography. As I read the book and seen the film with Robert Redford, it was interesting ... I liked the movie - yes. I am so impressed by both the book and when I saw the first version, but the reason is probably in years. I like your comments to the movie.
